Spiced Pear Overnight Oats

Making Spiced Pear Overnight Oats is a great way to get a head start on your next morning's meal prep. Having a jar or bowl of this ready in advance will help remove some of the decision fatigue about what to have for breakfast and is a great meal for on-the go if you need to get out in a hurry. This serves 4 people, takes 5 minutes to prep and you can leave it to chill overnight ready to eat in the morning.
Spiced Pear Overnight Ingredients:
1 cup (90g) rolled oats
1 cup (240ml) milk (can use any type, I'm using semi-skimmed coaw's milk to calculate nutrients)
1 cup (112g) 0% Greek-style yogurt
1 tbsp. (15g) chia seeds
1 pear, diced
2 tbsp.pecans, chopped
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ tsp. ground nutmeg
How to Prepare Spiced Pear Overnight Oats:
1. Place all the ingredients into a large bowl and stir until well
combined. Cover the bowl and place into the refrigerator for at
least 2 hours, or overnight.
2. Divide the oats between 4 serving glasses or jars and top with an
additional pear (optional and not included in nutritional
breakdown). Add a couple of drops of liquid stevia to taste. Enjoy!
